More Evidence Against Obama

The antichrist will be an elected leader who redistributes wealth!

In the 11th chapter of Daniel are prophecies concerning the antichrist’s rise to power and what his agenda will be. Verse 21 is where the text begins speaking of him. We know that the person spoken of here is the antichrist, because in verse 31 it goes on to say;

“And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation.”[1]

Yeshua made reference to this very prophecy when prophesying himself of the time just before his return.

“Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come. Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (whoever reads, let him understand), then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.” … “For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be. And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” [2]

The prophet Daniel also records that from the time of the setting up of “the abomination of desolation” there will be little more than three and a half years before the end. [3]

Now that it is established that the person who sets up the abomination of desolation is the antichrist, let’s go back to the beginning of the prophecy concerning him in chapter 11 and look at how he comes to power, how he appears, and the policies he will pursue. It is clear that he will not be a king in the usual royal sense. He will not have a crown, scepter, throne, robe, etc. It is also clear that he will not obtain the kingdom as an heir, nor will he take it through violent conquest. The only other possibility is that the kingdom is peacefully given to him by the people of the kingdom. And how else can this be done other than through election?  The prophecy says he obtains the leadership through “flatteries”.

“And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by flatteries.” [4]

Here is the same passage expanded with the details:

And in his place [a predominant leader of European descendants] shall arise a vile person [antichrist], to whom they will not give the honor of royalty [Not a king with throne, crown, scepter, etc. A President]; but he shall come in peaceably [election and “peaceful transfer of power”], and seize the kingdom by flatteries [“you deserve better” , “yes we can”].

Two verses later the prophecy indicates that the antichrist will adopt a different policy from that of his predecessors. It will be a policy of redistributing wealth! Bear in mind that the Hebrew word translated “fathers” can mean literally a biological father, or it can also mean a forerunner or predecessor, or even a founding father of a nation.[5]

“He shall enter peaceably, even into the richest places of the province; and he shall do what his fathers have not done, nor his forefathers; he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds, but only for a time.” [6]

Here is an expanded version of this passage:

He shall enter peaceably [through taxation], even into the richest places of the province [where the wealthy are], and he shall do what his predecessors and the founding fathers have not done: he shall disperse among them the plunder, spoil, and riches [redistribute the wealth]; and he shall devise his plans against the strongholds [where the wealth is secured], but only for a time.

Does this not perfectly describe Barack Obama and his agenda?
